Most Red-Blooded Americans have heard this phrase, “Your heritage is rebellion.” But almost no one understands the true meaning of this phrase if that meaning was there, to begin with, and not just useless propaganda. Those of us who are of the American Founding Stock cherish the founding. It holds a special place in our hearts. You could say it’s because of the triumph of “liberal democracy” over tyranny, but that’s just your indoctrination talking. Rather, we cherish the founding because it codified the ethnogenesis of our race. It was THE moment our blood became sovereign over our own destinies.
The founding was the moment reality set in and we knew our blood had become something else. Something better, superior, and it should not be in anyone else’s hands except our own. But the way our ancestors rebelled and gained their sovereignty is not how those who repeat this phrase, “Your heritage is rebellion,” think rebellion is about. There is a strong disconnect. A purposeful knowledge gap between us today and our ancestors who won their sovereignty. Maybe we have just fallen that far. Whether or not the knowledge gap was purposeful misdirection is beside the point. It happened.
To give into this idea, “Your heritage is rebellion,” is a very dangerous idea if you don’t understand the purpose for the rebellion. The phrase becomes a weapon that can just as easily be wielded by our enemies. Our enemies also believe in rebellion, but the end results of either one of these views are wrong. Founded in fantasy and terrible cruelty. Our race no longer understands the purpose for rebellion. Our ancestors were right in their rebellion, but what most Americans believe about the rebellion today is wrong in its entirety.
How few understand how power really works? How many still believe in the Constitution as it was written today? How many do not see how the founding was undone? Many have this fantasy that if they really could get their kin to rebel, they could return to a “How it was before.” Before what? Before the mass migrations wrought on by the civil rights act? Maybe before the immigration of Irish and Italians in the early 1900s? Before the creation of the income tax? Maybe you’re really bold, you want it to go back to before the amendments that allowed women and blacks to vote?
None of these really matter. They are points of failure in the design of our ancestors’ society, but there is no returning to some prior iteration of America. Our ancestors who rebelled did not think of returning. They thought about ascension. Of shaking the yoke off their back. Becoming MORE of what they were. They didn’t rebel because of the “liberal” ideas coming out of the philosophers of the day. Most didn’t know how to read. Of the few that did read, most had only read the Bible. They had a grander view, something that went beyond what the old masters had in store for them.
There is no plan. There is only the realization that most of us don’t like what the US has become. It no longer resembles the nation of our fathers. And while this is a good sentiment to have, it’s shortsighted. There’s no plan. How will you beat your enemy? What will you do once you do beat them?
How do you believe the War for Independence played out?
Are you like most Americans who believe the War for Independence was free men rising up against the tyranny of a faraway monarchy? The people FINALLY coming to prominence? No, the people did not “rise up.” They did not do what we believed they did during the War for Independence. They did not rise, they were organized. Any historical account of the War for Independence is a farce if it doesn’t account for the rise of the Founding Fathers as a new aristocracy. It was the taxation of this new elite caste that put fate into motion. By their hands was the War for Independence fought and won.
These men were aristocrats from all walks of life who put their heads together to shake off the British yoke that cut into their bottom line. They had always ruled themselves and always will rule themselves. They used the Antifa of their time, the Sons of Liberty, to strike terror and force the colonists to choose a side and shame those still loyal to the crown. Social scorn is a powerful weapon. They recruited men who served for the evil empire at the time, like George Washington who was trained by the very armies he would eventually outlast in the war to come. They used their wealth and influence as men of power to create a new state to guarantee their sovereignty. That is what the state is for the creation of the military genius. Our country, even today, is held up by the might of the US military.
From the earliest of times, men made war upon one another. The earliest militaries were war bands of brothers who had sworn oaths to a lord. But as the scale of nations and tribes increased to impossible numbers, men of power realized that something more was required. This is what the state emerged out of. If you wanted to become sovereign in this world, to stave off annihilation, you created a state. The state was made to create a military strong enough to protect its people and further their own ends. Over time, the reason why men went to war changed with the evolution of the state.
Men have always gone to war for greatness, power, and glory — as Ernst Junger said in his book, Storm of Steel. The men of ancient times gained much, much more. It was greatness, glory, and power made manifest. When they went to war, they returned with power, women, and plunder. It was how the first aristocracies were forged. They were the first, the best, the nobles. But the closer we get to the present, the benefits of being a warrior dwindle. The state took the place of the lord or king and instead of being generous with its loot and power, to foster greater loyalty and devotion in its warriors, it became horded. The state became what Nietzsche called the “coldest of all cold monsters.”
The way of the warrior in turn has fallen to darkness. The soldier is often seen as a slave to the state. A mindless automaton who is sent to some foreign land as cannon fodder or used against the “noble” people. He might still receive admiration from some, but he is also thought of with extreme nativity, for while his actions are done to be noble, he is being used by our enemies. This is how most Americans think of military men. Heart in the right place, but misguided, used. They wouldn’t want their children to participate in this system. As such, all ideas of rebellion fade away with their refusal to participate. They end up losing the rebellion before it even kicks off. They become thrall.
Contrast this with our Founding Fathers. They used whatever means they had to gain their sovereignty. They were not men who refused to participate because the game was rigged against them. They looked for the cracks, the loopholes. Figured out how to mobilize their race for action. They had great plans and schemes. It was not as innocent as the histories make it out to be. The War for Independence wasn’t this sudden uprising against a small tax(compared to what we are taxed today), it was men of power coming together to put a Great Work into motion.
Sovereignty, not freedom.
Americans love freedom. Most of us are so delusional that we think ourselves free men, but the only freedom we possess is to choose how we will spend our enslaved lives. Some make better choices than others. Almost none are actually sovereign which is precisely the point of my words. Seek out sovereignty, not freedom. You cannot have freedom if you are harmless. Freedom demands you prove yourself superior to your enemies. To do and exist despite their greatest efforts against you.
Americans must know what it means to be sovereign again. To put destiny on their shoulders and do what must be done. But by its nature, sovereignty will be realized by very few. Only the best can become sovereign. It’s not a democratic notion in the slightest. It’s not a matter of rebelling against a state that’s turned against you. It’s not that simple. For our ancestors, it was much easier. The center of power was an ocean away and they had already delegated much of that power to the men who rebelled against them.
In our time, the center of power is here in our very country. Some may flee to some other country to escape it, but they are simply submitting to a foreign power. There is no where to run too. Hell, maybe Elon will kick off the true space race and open up the last frontier, but in the meantime, there is no where you can run to. There won’t be some grand collapse, at least in our time. You either fight for power or submit. The first step in this process is making yourself sovereign again.
There are many paths to sovereignty today. War, which is the purpose of the state, continues to grow more complex. The first suggestion is to seek power and skills through military service. There are many perks that will get you ahead of the mass in taking this route. Ignore the hysteria about joining the military if you want to make something of your life is my suggestion. The military opens doors that otherwise would be closed to you.
For others, maybe it’s not possible or feasible. There are still ways. As you can see, our military is controlled by politicians, not warriors. Seek out power and influence in government. Acquire skills necessary for modern militaries today like logistics or arms manufacturing. Invest in those type of companies. Create powerful companies. Acquire wealth to fund your own projects. I can go on, but you can let your mind wander. Set your sights onwards and upwards. This is the way of sovereign men.
What does it mean to be sovereign? It means you see yourself as a player in the great game. You stopped being an NPC. Your decisions will affect the balance of power in the world. If you truly care about this idea of freedom, you make yourself sovereign. Anything less is still slavery. What can you do to make yourself a player? If not a player, at least closer to one? What can you do set up your family and sons for such work? Our life upon this earth IS warfare. That will end as soon as mankind does.
REPLY: This is, by far, the best piece you have written, on a par with your Warrior Religion pieces, which are also long overdue. (Parenthetically, note that Dalrock was the first to write at length how Institutional Christianity is not indifferent to us - at best - but is actively hostile, when they can risk it - at worst, and, more and more, as a matter of unspoken policy manifesting as silent, and silently effective, practice.
I think these pieces, policy discussions on Tree of Woe, and the Mars development discussions on Postcards From Barsoom, are all threads of a tapestry of what I call The Next Civilization, what Tree of Woe calls the Aenean Civilization.
Any society that substitutes debt for economic growth, at the level of the physical economy, doesn't have long to live.
Bluntly, each paragraph of this deserves its own thread. However, I will simply quote the opening sentence of the paragraph, and then offer an abbreviated comment.
BARBARIC DISCIPLE: "Most Red-Blooded Americans have heard this phrase, “Your heritage is rebellion.”
REPLY: Actually, they haven't. Since the public schools replaced History with Contemporary Issues In The Social Sciences in 1964, CISS course - and nominally named "U.S. History" courses, which are CISS in disguise - any references to our Founding, and the Men who made it, are replaced with kinder, gentler reference to "historic forces." Marx, slightly rewritten, is the dictionary for defining these nebulously defined "forces."
BARBARIC DISCIPLE: "The founding was the moment reality set in and we knew our blood had become something else."
REPLY: See above. Note the distinction between "historic forces" and Great Men - THE Founders, a Cultural response to the inherent contradictions of the British Empire.
BARBARIC DISCIPLE:” To give into this idea, “Your heritage is rebellion,” is a very dangerous idea if you don’t understand the purpose for the rebellion.”
REPLY: Chalmers Johnson said that most self-described “revolutions” were merely rebellions. One of the hallmarks of a true revolution is a new financial system. Not just renaming of banks, but a new system. The British System – an Empire of Mercantilism – was replaced by something more honest, which in time became known as the American System. From Hamilton’s Vision to Henry Carey’s implementation, THIS was the economic foundation of American Exceptionalism, and American Greatness. After all, didn’t Franklin, at the end of his life, state that the purpose of the Revolution was to control our own money supply?
BARBARIC DISCIPLE:” How few understand how power really works?”
REPLY: Anarchonomicon dealt with this with rare insight. He noted that every time the Supreme Court issues an “Opinion,” you get a new Constitution. You just don’t realize that. Yet.
People see the Form of Power, which can be rather fragile, with the Substance of Effectiveness. Reference Northern Ireland, if you will, for a microcosm of this distinction, clearly defined.
BARBARIC DISCIPLE: ”There is no plan.”
REPLY:There are plans within plans, but none of them are ours.
There’s a reason for that.
I leave their definition, and understanding, an as an Exercise for the Student.
BARBARIC DISCIPLE: “Any historical account of the War for Independence is a farce if it doesn’t account for the rise of the Founding Fathers as a new aristocracy. It was the taxation of this new elite caste that put fate into motion.”
REPLY: *Take that Frame and FREEZE IT!*
THAT is the Framing needed to understand the (First) American Revolution, and build a better future. Note that the most powerful taxation source is the money supply. Again, see Franklin.
BARBARIC DISCIPLE:
“These men were aristocrats from all walks of life who put their heads together to shake off the British yoke that cut into their bottom line.” Include the next two paragraphs here.
REPLY: At last, someone gets it.
The Becoming Noble substack is a useful place to start. The Neo-Aristocracy is no less useful. All of these start with Mindset, which is where you excel.
Note, by the way, that a Mr. V. Putin, of Moscow, Russia, declared the future Russian Aristocracy is being developed, today, within the Russian Army. Note further, the Russian Army REQUIRES experience in combat – not a combat ZONE, but facing the Enemy, closing with the Enemy, and destroying the Enemy - to even apply for Officer Training.
The Russian Army, and no other place.
BARBARIC DISCIPLE: “The way of the warrior in turn has fallen to darkness.”
REPLY: See above re NovoRussiya, which is in development even as we speak.
BARBARIC DISCIPLE: “The way of the warrior in turn has fallen to darkness. The soldier is often seen as a slave to the state. A mindless automaton who is sent to some foreign land as cannon fodder or used against the “noble” people.” Insert the next two paragraphs HERE.
REPLY: See above re NovoRussiya. As for “cannon foidder,” note that Elizabeth Nickson speaks with pride of her – and OUR – ancestors, who were most assuredly NOT “cannon fodder.”
To quote her, “They were cannons.”
“Cannons.”
And Conquerors.
BARBARIC DISCIPLE: “There are many paths to sovereignty today. War, which is the purpose of the state, continues to grow more complex.

REPLY:
This paragraph is a restatement on an earlier piece of yours, which deserves much greater development.
Military service can be very useful. You learn how large organizations work, and do not work. Training, yes, but Mindset Development, especially in the Marines, and, to a lesser degree, Army Rangers. Both are Brotherhoods. Above all, you have the scales fall from your eyes from the many, many courses and videos offering “motivation.”
Motivation Without Discipline Is Faith Without Works.
Reread that last line.
Motivation is cotton candy. It is offered freely, and it is a useless diversion.
It is a trap
Discipline is Prime Rib.
It must be earned, every hour and every minute of every day.
The Corps teaches you THAT, if nothing else.
The Marines are best, for our purposes, for many reasons.
Foremost, there is no pretense of them being anything other than combat, the most honest, and ruthlessly honest, form of competition. Weakness is not tolerated, and tolerance (DEI) is barely tolerated, and then only at the lowest levels, and only as a matter of Form, for the shortest period of time possible.
It's a smarter, stronger, better skilled and organized Fight Club.
BARBARIC DISCIPLE: “What does it mean to be sovereign? It means you see yourself as a player in the great game. You stopped being an NPC. Your decisions will affect the balance of power in the world. REPLY: Here is the beginning of Sovereignty, with Four Words.
“Stop Being A Victim.”
Where the Mind of a Failure – a “Loser(s),” to quote you from elsewhere on this website, and THAT sentence, alone, is worthy of much greater elaboration, sees the Obstacle, the Mindset of Conquest sees the Opportunity in overcoming the obstacle, in the fulfillment of a Higher Purpose.
Start where you are.
Start NOW.
Let me close by loosely paraphrasing and restating one of your best formulations:
If America was created to train the Faithful, Mars was created to train the Great.
And Mars is the God of...?
