Devotion is word of power.
This modern age is full of globe-homo motivation, but motivation is fleeting. It’s just feel good bullshit that maybe motivates you to workout once or twice, but like New Years “Resolutions” it’s left to rot.
Discipline is better. Devotion is similar to an iron discipline. Life can happen however and discipline can lax over time. It’s a strong mindset in the beginning. But, training should be for life. This isn’t something you do for 30 days or until you reach your goal. What is your life over because you dropped 10lbs?
No, training must never stop. The moment you stop pushing your limits is the moment your decline begins. Yes, we all get older and decline over time, but you must fight. Fight every step away. Hold onto your sacred power for as long as you can.
Training is ritual.
Your training must go beyond discipline. Beyond obsession even. Beyond obsession is where you find devotion. Devotion is religious practice. And training is the practice of your sacred rites. But BD—you say—how can you compare bodybuilding to status of religion?
I believe in the gods. The old gods rather. This is not attack. It’s through training that you can reconnect with them.
This new age claims to be godless, but this is not true. Religion never changes, only the gods we worship. These new gods however, are FALSE GODS who will lead mankind to destruction.
I don’t care which old gods you believe in, training will allow you to convene with them. You might believe the The Buddha will return as a walking god man on earth to take on the tribe of snakes. Or you may think Thor will do battle with Jormungandr in the prophecized Ragnarok. These stories of the old gods are all true. You must train to be ready for the great battles to come.
Training is Devotion. It’s devotion to your higher self. It’s the act of preparing to tread the jeweled thrones of the earth. This devotion to greatness, power, and glory will carry you far in life. It all starts—I believe—with the ritual of bodybuilding. This act will reawaken your primordial will and open you up to the wisdom of the old gods.
This said, did you fucking train today?
Hell yes, I trained. I trained yesterday, I trained today, and be damned sure I will train tomorrow.
