The Challenge of the Warrior Religion

The warrior religion project has gotten much positive feedback and suggestions from friends who read. Would like to thank everyone who contributes and continues to contribute. The Sardaukar will be born into this world! What I want to focus on however, is the challenge a warrior religion faces in the modern world. It’s infancy should be marred with secrecy, survival, and strength as I’ve said in Survival in the Warrior Religion. The reason a warrior religion holds the appeal to us that it does is the lack of any such outlets on our side of the world.

Becoming disciple of a warrior religion must be somewhat like joining a martial arts gym. You hear words missing from the modern world like honor, discipline, and devotion. It gives a man a purpose to learn and master a craft. But a warrior religion must go beyond this. There must be devotion to the gods and making of true believers.

This religion must be forward thinking. How do you counter the tactics of modern warfare? Every country has its way of fighting a war. How will the disciples of the warrior religion do it? The reality is the religion would not have anywhere close to the funding the US military does. There will be no victory by superior firepower, rather victory by superior men. What can a disciple do to give him a step up over his enemies?

Who will the disciples worship and trust to lead them to salvation or a glorious death?

This will be the point of contention. Looking broadly, the god or gods chosen must have something to do with the race. Here we’re talking about the dispossessed, Real Americans. The easiest path would be to make new denomination of Christianity or maybe a cult of some warrior archangel? Founding Americans were Puritans and we still hold most of their morality today. This goes against what I feel is right path because I see Christianity as the corpse leftism sprang from.

Combining the values of Nietzsche with the belief in a War God would be ideal. A religion with Nietzsche’s life affirming attitude, the Will to Power, and the quest for the overman would give the warrior religion vitality. What’s needed is a War God to give our devotion along with a powerful meme to convince our race to save ourselves. This will anger the Christians who read, but I believe the world is ripe for a new religion. I encourage Christians who read me to show me how I’m wrong about the Christian God. Show me how he favors the warrior and how his way is the right way according to nature.

Man was made for war. It’s in his blood. Why else do we carry more muscle and are more capable of violence than women? The War God must favor the warrior. He must represent the path back to nature. His way must be the way of all superior peoples. It may not be necessary to worship multiple deities, though it’s worth noting Dumezil’s tripartite which he found in Indo-European societies. This could be the rock in which we create the foundation by awakening blood memories.

Christianity and the enlightenment after it have washed away the tripartite ordering of society that Dumezil found. It can be something Real Americans might not get at first, but perhaps blood memories will provide comfort enough to embrace? There are many gods and many religions that have appeared throughout history. The War God or Gods of the warrior religion may be new and you shouldn’t close your mind to this. To do so is revealing your leftist indoctrination, which seeks to discredit religion. The names of Thor and Indra come down from the proto-Indo European name Perkwunos, perhaps the War God is this same god by a new name?

The warrior religion must be a new denomination.

It must be emphasized that in its form, the warrior religion will have to be a new denomination. It’s theology whether new or old, must have a new interpretation. What  you don’t want happening is tired theological debates because neo pagan nerds, as an example, don’t see the theology as legitimate. What will make the religion legitimate is its ability to help men get strong and survive the coming storm. It’s ability to offer another path in this prison world. That’s how it will gain authority. The warrior religion’s ability to accomplish this, against all odds, will make true believers.

More or less, the warrior religion needs gods that match up with its culture. The culture is a culture removed from modernity. Modernity represents the world of the Titans, the devourer, and the godless. The religion is the path of the gods, of righteousness and nature. The warrior religion should be somewhat of a tribe, anyone born into it is raised in the way, anyone on the outside must prove their worth to be accepted in. This is a warrior religion for a new world, the old religions don’t necessarily apply.

There are problems in applying dead religions to modernity. I’ve attacked Christianity, let me do paganism. What we know of the old pagan gods, their scriptures, were all copied down by Christians. Do you think they might have lied or changed things? Thor is a powerful thunderer, but his tales mostly involve him getting embarrassed. A friend, @EJaydouble on Twitter, brought to my attention Vedic lore about the Kali Yuga. In the Kali Yuga, the warrior caste degenerates.

Near the end of the Kali Yuga, the avatar of Vishnu returns and leads the true warriors against the fallen warrior caste. What do you think about this? My only problem with this is the process in which we tie a western people with an eastern religion. Indians do have Aryan blood, but they we are still far removed from them. The Roman God Mars has my attention as well. He is originally a thundering god like Thor, but with the mixing with the Greeks, Mars becomes a more revered version of Ares who was also a god of cultivation.

I believe whoever can create the most powerful MEME for the warrior religion will win out, however. Must seek to forge a new culture for this warrior religion. Do you have ideas for this? What gods would you or do you worship?
