Fire and Fanaticism in the Warrior Religion
Please read the previous part in the series: The White Whale and Herman Melville’s Prophecy of Power
If there is an Achilles’ Heel on the right today, that sticks out more than anything else, it is the absolute absence of fire and fanaticism. You can find the passion on the left, the Will to Fight and the like, but it’s missing on our side. No matter how silly it looks like, the leftist is fanatically devoted to his insanity and he wins because his enemies are just trying to be normal. By all means, outwardly, you should be normal, but you need layers. In this fight, you aren’t going to win by being normal, you win by showing a superior way. And to do this, you must move out of the frame of your enemies. You will have to show your own kind of fire and fanaticism.
This Warrior Religion draws its inspiration from Frank Herbert’s writings on the Sardaukar and Fremen religions from Dune. Herbert held a very right wing view of history. Expansion into space allowed the different races to segregate themselves onto their own planets. The head families of these planets intermarried to form alliances like in older times. He understood — as did Cyrus the Great — that soft lands make soft people. Cyrus thought it better to live in a harsh, rugged land and rule than to be a slave in a rich, prosperous land. The Warrior Religions of the Sardaukar and the Fremen both hail from harsh worlds.
The Sardaukar were bred from the survivors of a prison planet to become the Emperor’s Blades. They adhered to an old religion that’s said to descend from Islam and Christianity. The espirit of shared suffering and the belief in their innate superiority made them the best fighting force in the universe. Near the end of their reign, emerged the Fremen from Arakkis, a desert planet harvested for its spice by the imperium. The Fremen were a persecuted people who escaped persecution by hiding in the far reaches of the desert, but to do this they had to learn how to survive in the harshest of environments. They wore specialized suits to conserve their body’s water and they had to walk in a special way to avoid detection from the titanic worms that travelled through the sands.
The worms became like deities to the Fremen who eventually figured out how to ride them. To forge a culture that could survive and thrive on the planet they developed extreme fanaticism. They had fire and fanaticism that would seem silly to us in the same way as the left’s. They believed in something called water discipline. The water in your body didn’t belong to you. It belonged to the tribe. When you died, they had special tools to extract the water from your dead body. It seems messed up, but they lived on a planet where water was extremely scarce and hard to come by.
The Fremen had a keen understanding on how many people their water could support. If you wanted to join the Fremen, you had to prove your worth in the form of a duel — a duel to the death. Are you willing to do what is necessary to survive? Are you willing to kill to earn a spot? Their weapons, the crysknives, had their own mysticism. It was taboo to draw your knife and not draw blood. These are the kinds of customs you have to think about if you want to make something greater than what globohomo is offering the world.
What sorts of rites and traditions should the Warrior Religion be devoted to?
The purpose of fire and fanaticism is to breed a strong devotion in your disciples. The right has the right ideal in pursuing aesthetics. Leftism has utterly destroyed the health and vitalism of our people. The first step is undoing this damage through physical culture and proper diet. Wherever you are in this process is a build up to enter a Warrior Religion. One ill effect of liberal democracy as empire is the “transformation of mankind into cattle” as Nietzsche so aptly put it. You have to become the man in nature again.
Hold proper reverence for our frontier forefathers. They are the last people forced back into nature and they emerged from the crucible on top of the world. If you want to know how you can become a beast of prey again, study your frontier ancestors. Implement their lessons learned. They did what had to be done. You must take back responsibility for you and yours.
The original metaphysics that defined America was the ideal of self-determination. You were expected to survive on your own in the wild, without the prospect of ambulances to recuse you or police officers to protect you. Life is meant to be survived in whatever fashion you can manage. This was a do or die, sink or swim, and the American came out on top. Against all odds, they mastered the frontier. What can you do to move towards this ideal of self-determination? What steps can you take towards self-reliance? This is the way back into the right nature.
Like the Fremen in Dune, Americans have become a persecuted people. It’s a mistake to think too much into this. To ignore what’s right in front of you. There’s no thinking your way out of this. Fighting, surviving, and strength are what matters to the Warrior Religion because we have a lot of that ahead of us. The worship of the victim and the helpless is their religion, not ours. To become a disciple of the Warrior Religion is to become a stranger to the civilization in which you live today.
You have to get closer to the darkness of nature, closer to the primitive.
This soft and comfortable world we live in is a mirage in the desert. It will soon fade and than, reality will set in. Despair will set in. The harsh nature your ancestors learned to master is all around you. If you don’t become acquainted to it, you make yourself at the mercy of your enemies. You must go back into the darkness of nature. Into the primitive. It’s in the primitive where you will sink or swim, it’s in the primitive where The Gods will reveal themselves to you.
Man was not made to pay bills and die. To sit in some office, wait on some customer. These inventions of the modern world seep into and infect the spirit. The way out is fire and fanaticism. What makes you burn inside? What will it take for you to fight? This is where your thoughts should dwell. Even if the threat of leftism didn’t exist, your thoughts should dwell there. There is always enemy, be he foreign or domestic. Life is warfare and man is the warrior.
Once you figure out how to fuel the fire and fanaticism within yourself, you can turn your energy outwards. To recruiting disciples to your cause. To saving souls. The best ways of feeding your fire and fanaticism are found in pursuing strength and nature. Strive to make your brothers and disciples of the same blood because it is in race where the strongest group bondings lie. Abandon modern culture and embrace the primitive. May you create fanatical rites and feed the Sacred Fire within.
