There has been an interesting synthesis happening between Christianity and the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche. It’s something, that few are aware of and something both sides of these seemingly opposed ideologies would even agree to. On the one side you have the world religion of Christianity which puts value in the poor, the meek, and the malformed while on the other, you have the works of Nietzsche which attacks this view of Christianity, going so far as to have a book called The Antichrist. How could the philosophy of Nietzsche which strives for vitalism, strength, power, and excellence combine with Christianity? And why should it? Why should Christians hear out the man who said “God is dead”? Why should Nietzscheans even consider the religion Nietzsche trashed so thoroughly?
A great anon account called ZeroHPLovecraft(ZHP) put together a blueprint for a possible synthesis he called “Christo-Nietzscheanism.” You can hear or read what he has to say by going to his substack. This series is well worth your time. ZHP has idea I believe can be built upon. Now if you’re finding your way here, you’ve been influenced by BOTH Christianity and the philosophy of Nietzsche, whether you think yourself Christian or Nietzschean. Whether you’re willing to admit it is another matter entirely. Most who see this are probably Christian. Christianity has been around for two thousand years. Nietzsche is a relatively recent philosopher who lived in the 1800s.
With that in mind, you must imagine modern Christianity. Christianity as it is today. Not your inward belief of how Christianity is or should be, but how it is to the world today. Christians will not admit this, but their religion has lost almost all power on the world stage. You can make the argument that it’s being SCRAPED off the world stage by its replacement, which I call leftism. Almost all churches supplicate to the theology of the new religion. You see many churches embracing what the Bible calls SINS. They’ve been corrupted, perhaps, beyond salvation.
Now Christianity throughout history hasn’t been just one thing. There are many types of Catholicism, so even the Catholics cannot lay claim to worshipping the original faith. You got the Muslims who worship the Christian God while making Christ a prophet. More recently, Protestantism emerged with its many schisms. Christianity has and will continue to change. Everything in this world changes. It’s unavoidable.
In these dire straits for Christianity, its disciples spend more time attacking Nietzscheans and Pagans instead of the actual religion supplanting it. This phenomenon has led me to believe that the creation of Christianity had one purpose: to destroy the old religion of Paganism. This may be a jaded viewpoint I hold, but I do my best to show respect for Christianity. I’m American and my country was founded by Christians. The worldview of Christianity is still widely accepted by Americans as true, even if they claim not to be Christian anymore. Leftism itself can be described as Christianity without God, without Jesus Christ. The morality is very similar, though the values are opposed.
Christianity is failing in the modern day. It’s failing in such a way that most Christians can’t even comprehend just how badly it is failing. For Christians, who were taught about how harshly Christians were persecuted by the Romans, they shrug off the failures. Their kingdom, of course, is not of this world. They must adhere to the teachings of Christ so that they may get into heaven, regardless of the state of the world and the people around them. To these Christians, there is no reaching and perhaps, you shouldn’t even try, but this is not the way Christianity became the world religion we know it to be today. There is more required of the true Christian.
These churches which are FAILING its disciples are embracing all the sins the Bible warned them about. You hear stories of churches accepting lgbts into their ranks. There are even trans preachers out there preaching Christianity. The priests chosen to “guide their flocks” to heaven are parroting the enemy religion and backing down to attacks against Christianity and Christians. This isn’t so much about being “hateful” as the enemy would call it, but in SAVING souls. How can you as a Christian stand by before all this sinful behavior and do nothing? You were empowered to spread the word of God and get souls into heaven.
If you want to see the pure failure of modern Christianity, look at the many leftists who ABANDONED their faith because they saw it as the racist religion of Trump supporters. Imagine that, leaving behind Christ after seeing Trump supporters embrace Christianity. If that’s not enough, the actual Christians themselves allow their enemies to spread sins throughout their homeland because they are afraid of being called racist or bigoted. Now Christians will rightfully get defensive at these attacks, but without realizing that their defensiveness is the result of leftist indoctrination. They won’t admit to their cowardice. But they aren’t the only cowards. Everyone aligned against leftism holds the blame for cowardice in some shape or form if they are TRUE. This cowardice isn’t damning as we are all brought up in a way that paints the false world religion in a favorable light.💡
