Action and Conviction are Everything

Action and conviction are everything. Words and intellect account to little when it comes to turning the wheel of mankind. You might leave behind something worth remembering. It might change the world later, but if you care about the world you live in now, the world your sons will inherit, action becomes all that matters. You have to impose your will on the world and an intellectual cannot do this. The man of action is the mover of mankind.

The modern Republican Party in the United States is a clear example of how intellect and principle gets you no where. They are always sticking to their principles, demanding the enemy does the same. In the places where they “hold power,” they’re always “monitoring the situation” while their enemies violate the law of the land and in general, do what they want. The GOP is just another arm of the Democrat party. There are no men of action in their ranks. They’re subpar intellectuals at best who will cry about principle, but never defend principle. It is either cowardice or corruption that motivates these “men.”

It doesn’t matter if you believe yourself right or whether you think you know more about life than your enemies. What matter is who makes the move, who cuts the throat, who imposes their will. The right has many things to make excuses about. How the odds are completely stacked against them. But excuses don’t win wars. You — as Hannibal did in the alps — must find a way or make one. There is no other option.

Manifest the most powerful conviction.

Ernst Junger lived in the last generation of real men. Action wasn’t a problem for him or any man in his command. It wasn’t enough to just have action. These were men of action charged into no man’s land, into the meat grinders, for greatness, power, and glory. They did it for honor and loyalty to country. It’s an easy argument to make that this war wasted the hero’s blood of our civilization, but what do you make of men like Junger who came out of the Great War a more complete man?

Junger believed you needed more than action, you needed conviction. The will to kill and step over the corpse of your enemy, to head further into the battle. The men of his time didn’t lack men of action. Our time does. A great cowardice seizes good people from doing what’s right. This is where nature shines its ugly head. Just because you are on the side of “moral rightness” doesn’t mean you will prevail.

You need more than strong morals. I believe history gets determined by the ones who actually have little to no morals at are. Men willing to do whatever it takes to win. BAP likes to talk about men who are willing to go into the underworld in order to acquire power. To beat the left, you have to be willing to do this. A man with the modern Christian faith does not have the power to do this. The strong conviction of his ancestors is gone.

In the end, the right may have to abandon this modern world, become a new people, and return to the steppe once more. If you can’t inspire your country to conviction, it will become necessary to form a new people or die. Conviction, righteous indignation, THUMOS, must be on a different level than what you see from mindfucked leftists today. It will start small first, with you. If you can make it take hold, you can spread it to your friends and family. From there, the conversations about becoming more can begin. Without conviction, we are nothing but sheep to be slaughtered.

His dogmatic belief that he — by nature of his intelligence — should be at the wheel of mankind and our society’s agreement with this creates an opportunity. It is Spengler’s belief that a civilization has a lifespan of around a thousand years and we are well past the point of no return. It’s my belief that the society we’re born into cannot be saved, the best you can do is make yourself barbaric. Resavage yourself so that when the fall comes, you have it in your power to help create the new people.

This new people can still honor and be inspired by the deeds of our forefathers, but it must become distinct from them. Learn from them. The west had its own hubris, made its own mistakes, and we must understand how those mistakes were made. Establish traditions to prevent those mistakes from happening again. We must be in the business of forming a new people. New barbarians who survive and thrive behind enemy lines. New barbarians who win the time comes will take power, who will have the Mandate of Heaven.

To do this, you must embrace and embody the virtues of nature. You must be strong, have DARING. Be driven by some powerful warrior religion. You must have Junger’s Will to kill and step over the bodies of your enemies deeper into the battle. Above all, be a man of action and conviction. This type of man will be foreign and deadly to the men of our time. They will be barbarians in every sense of the word.
